Arina Joanisse joined Stevenson Whelton LLP in 2014, after completing her articles at a large full-service law firm. She maintains a broad civil litigation practice spanning diverse subject matters, including commercial contracts, real property (including mortgage, sale of land, condominium issues and commercial leasing disputes), construction matters, employment disputes, and medical malpractice cases. Arina appears regularly before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and has experience with a variety of complex motions, including emergency injunctions and motions for summary judgment. She is a passionate, creative advocate who is committed to achieving her clients' goals in the most cost-effective manner possible.

Arina graduated with honours from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, where she obtained a number of awards for academic achievement. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Business Administration (with distinction) from The Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University. Her past experience also includes a secondment at the Ontario Human Rights Commission and two years as a marketing analyst in a digital advertising agency.
